Prevalence of Anemia Are In Malarial Patients of Peshawar

Anemia is a disorder in which blood deficiency occurs. Our blood flows through our veins and arteries because it is a vital liquid. Malaria infection that raises the disease's morbidity and death rate is anemia. Severe anemia has been linked to more than half of deaths from malaria. The current study is to ascertain how common anemia is among Peshawar area malaria patients. Blood samples from patients with anemia and malaria were used in this investigation. Between June and August of 2023, samples were gathered from Lady Reading Hospital in Peshawar as well as a few private labs. SPSS (Statistical Package for Social Sciences) was used to do the statistical analysis. The chi-square (χ2) test was employed to evaluate the correlation between various variables. From results it is concluded that anemia is more prevalent in Plasmodium falciparum than Plasmodium vivex infected people. It is also concluded that Plasmodium falciparum is more in male as compared to Plasmodium vivex, while in female Plasmodium vivex is more prevalent. Plasmodium falciparum is more prevalent than Plasmodium vivex in age group 1-38 years.
