Comparison of Complete Blood Count of Employees Working in Hygienic and Unhygienic environment

The purpose of this analytical descriptive study was to calculate the total blood count of industrial worker who were working in the Sugar Mill Limited Industry, Dera Ismail Khan. The most common laboratory test ordered is the complete blood count, which is a basic screening test. The results of the complete blood count provide important diagnostic data regarding the prognosis of the hematologic and other body systems, how they respond to treatment, and how quickly they recover. The complete blood count consists of a series of test that determine number, variety, percentage concentrations and quality of blood cells. The study included thirty samples from the healthy and industrial environment. For the complete blood count (Kx_21N) test, two milliliters of venous blood were drawn in EDTA anticoagulant. Using the SPSS computer program, data were examined using an independent test and a one-way ANOVA test version 15. The result of the study showed that HGB, RBC, HCT, MPV, PLT and LYM concentration were increased significantly as in contrast to the control group. There was no significant difference between WBCs, PCV, MCV, MCHC, MCH, MO, PDW, GR and RDW count. All the studied parameters were found to be within the normal range for industrial worker.
