Withdrawal Policy

At Gomal Journal of Agriculture and Biology, we understand that circumstances may arise where authors may need to withdraw their submitted manuscripts. To maintain integrity and transparency in our publication process, we have formulated the following withdrawal policy:

  1. Withdrawal Requests: Authors may request withdrawal of their manuscript by contacting the editorial office via email. The withdrawal request must be made by the corresponding author or by all authors collectively.
  2. Reason for Withdrawal: Authors must provide a clear and valid reason for their withdrawal request. Acceptable reasons for withdrawal include the discovery of significant errors, ethical concerns, or unavoidable circumstances that prevent the completion or publication of the manuscript.
  3. Approval Process: All withdrawal requests will be reviewed by the editorial board. The decision to approve a withdrawal request will be made based on the validity of the reason provided and its potential impact on the journal's integrity and scholarly record.
  4. Withdrawal Fees: Gomal Journal of Agriculture and Biology does not charge any withdrawal fees. However, authors should be aware that any processing charges or publication fees paid at the time of submission will not be refunded upon withdrawal.
  5. Timing of Withdrawal: Authors are encouraged to submit withdrawal requests as soon as possible after realizing the need for withdrawal. Manuscripts that have already entered the peer review process or are scheduled for publication may require additional consideration, and withdrawal requests may not always be accommodated.
  6. Public Disclosure: Once a manuscript has been withdrawn, it will no longer be considered for publication in Gomal Journal of Agriculture and Biology. However, the fact of withdrawal may be noted in the journal's records for transparency purposes.
  7. Resubmission: Authors who wish to resubmit a withdrawn manuscript must go through the regular submission process, ensuring that any necessary revisions or updates have been made in accordance with the journal's guidelines.
  8. Communication: Authors will be promptly notified of the decision regarding their withdrawal request. All communication regarding withdrawal should be conducted through official channels established by the journal.
